Our leadership

Grace Church Didcot is a church-plant under the pastoral oversight of Hanney Chapel. Jim Sayers leads the work in consultation with the Hanney elders.

Jim and his wife Helen are members at Abbey Baptist Church in Abingdon. Jim was previously pastor of Kesgrave Baptist Church in Suffolk for 14 years, and then served for 11 years as Communications Director of Grace Baptist Mission in Abingdon. He is also chairman of Praise Trust. They have three adult children.

Ian was involved in missions work in France for fourteen years, including participation in a church planting project. Since 2003 he has been a member of the Grace Baptist Mission radio team, based in Abingdon, where he produces a French language Bible teaching radio programme that is widely aired throughout francophone Africa and elsewhere. Ian joined the leadership of Grace Church Didcot in February 2023. He is married to Hélène and they have two adult children.
